Nancy Fantom founded Saddleback Pet Services in 1990 to provide high quality boarding services for dogs and to offer training that focused on solutions to real life situations.  Over the past years, Saddleback has grown into a highly regarded professional facility attracting training clients from all over the country; many of our boarders travel long distances to let their dogs enjoy their vacation at the farm on the hill.  Nestled on 50 acres in Northwood, New Hampshire, Saddleback strives to provide our clients with a unique opportunity to learn about their dog and improve communication and behavior. We also want our patrons to feel totally comfortable about their vacation time away from their four footed family member.

We are 30 minutes from Manchester, Portsmouth and Concord areas and have easy highway access for clients traveling longer distances.

Our staff is selected and trained to provide the best possible care for your dog; they genuinely love dogs and enjoy their work.  We focus on the whole package and want your dog comfortable -both emotionally and physically; we care for your dog as if it were our own, complete with pats & hugs.  From your first phone call to your good-bye at the door, we want your experience to be pleasant one. We listen to your concerns and do our best to meet all your requests.

Nancy Fantom, owner and trainer, offers clients years of behavioral expertise.  A graduate of Cornell University, Nancy has loved and worked with dogs her whole life; she even did a elementary school project on training dogs!  Nancy’s true talent lies in being able to effectively communicate with both her students  – canine and human.  She takes an integrated approach to training; viewing the situation from all sides and realizing that dog, owner and setting all effect the ultimate outcome. Nancy has received awards from the Animal Rescue League of Boston for outstanding service in training and placing shelter dogs and from the Massachusetts Veterinary Medical Association for commitment to the human/animal bond for her volunteer work in Mexico.  She has worked with many rescue organizations throughout New England and has conducted seminars for veterinary hospitals, shelters and community groups on dog behavior and training.  Nancy loves her work and it shows in her dedication to each dog and family that seek her help.
